Vancouver's English Bay Cup is a ten-pin bowling tournament held annually in Vancouver, BC, Canada, usually the second weekend of March.  The event is volunteer run by two leagues bowling at Revs in Burnaby, BC.

We're an IGBO (International Gay Bowling Organization) member tournament and sanctioned by the CTF (Canadian Tenpin Federation).

Our goal is to create a fun weekend and promote camaraderie between bowlers.  We strive to offer a safe, welcoming environment for the LGBTQ community and our friends and family.

Although sport is at the core of our event, we feel the true legacy of the event is the fostering of friendships and understanding within our community.

VEBC generally attracts a mix of men (65%) and women (35%), generally split evenly from Vancouver BC, Seattle WA and Portland OR.

The tournament consists of a registration party on the Friday night, nine games of bowling over Saturday and Sunday with an awards banquet on Sunday.

Happy New Year fellow bowlers/friends.

We have waited and hoped and waited some more but now have had to make a decision not to have a 2022 Vancouver English Bay Cup Tournament. The constantly changing restrictions up here in British Columbia make it impossible to make any commitments for the House, accommodation, etc.

In the meantime, our best wishes for a happy, prosperous, safe and healthy 2022. We look forward to getting together again in 2023.

Your VEBC Executive,

Nancy, Michael, Dale, Neil
