About Us
Vancouver's English Bay Cup was a ten-pin bowling tournament held annually in Vancouver, BC, Canada, usually the second weekend of March. The event was volunteer run by two leagues bowling at Revs in Burnaby, BC.
We were an IGBO (International Gay Bowling Organization) member tournament and sanctioned by the CTF (Canadian Tenpin Federation).
Our goal was to create a fun weekend and promote camaraderie between bowlers. We strove to offer a safe, welcoming environment for the LGBTQ community and our friends and family.

Although sport was at the core of our event, we felt the true legacy of the event was the fostering of friendships and understanding within our community.
VEBC generally attracted a mix of men (65%) and women (35%), generally split evenly from Vancouver BC, Seattle WA and Portland OR.
The tournament consisted of a registration party on the Friday night, nine games of bowling over Saturday and Sunday with an awards banquet on Sunday.
